The open house for the cabins at Rocky Creek is Thursday. | New

The Brokery Builders are set to introduce Monroe County’s first tiny home community, The Cottages at Rocky Creek. The unique community at 2467 Smith Road in northwest Monroe County will host a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, October 6. The ribbon cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m. and tours and information will be available until 7 p.m.

High-end tiny homes will be available for rent rather than sale. When completed, the development will comprise 12 separate homes. On October 6, potential tenants can view homes, make monthly rent offers, rent a unit, or reserve a future unit. It will also be possible to order a mini-house to be built on the owner’s property.
