Moneylender Says Cannabis Co. Can’t Dodge Suit By Hiding Limbs

By Mike Curley (July 8, 2022, 7:15 p.m. EDT) – A lender rejects a cannabis farm’s bid to escape a $4 million lawsuit alleging it breached a contract, saying the allegations of the farm managers’ complaint are sufficient to establish the jurisdiction of the federal courts.

In a reply brief filed Thursday, PH Invesco LLC said defendants Pure Harvest Colorado LLC and Sofa King Medicinal Wellness Products LLC appear to have gone to considerable lengths to keep the identity of their executives confidential, it should not prevent it from falling under federal jurisdiction.
