United States: private property long-term rental platform Zumper is now ready to offer owners and managers of short-term rentals a dedicated experience to advertise their vacation and monthly rentals in front of the company’s 178 million annual visitors.
The new short-term rental product will include the features needed for an “efficient and streamlined” experience, including integration with major channel managers [including BookingPal and Rentals United]a mobile-first approach, calendar integration, and access to the latest technology, including 3D tour integrations.
While Statista reports that the vacation rental category alone is expected to reach $17.6 billion this year, Zumper believes it can meet demand for short-term, flexible rentals, and says its product is cheaper for property owners and managers than “many” traditional short-term rental sites.
The company says the benefits of advertising on its site include:
“Listings on Zumper lead to longer average stay per night”: Zumper renters stay an average of 2.6 times longer than on other sites.
“The Zumper customer is unique in the industry”: 67% of Zumper’s audience falls into the popular 18-49 age category. This is a “significantly higher” percentage than most traditional classifieds sites.
“Zumper gives more for your money”: With 10% hosting fees and no guest fees, Zumper says it’s “significantly more cost effective” than many competitors. Additionally, property managers and owners who register before July 1, 2022 will receive free reservations until August 31, 2022.
With over $178 million in funding, over 500,000 short-term and vacation listings, and one million active long-term listings, Zumper’s mission is to make renting an apartment as easy as booking a home. ‘hotel.
Zumper’s new short-term rental product is currently in BETA testing, and the fully-designed product is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year.
