A holiday cottage complex in Somerset sold for an asking price of £1,150,000.

The four bedroom farmhouse with four holiday homes in Lympsham has been sold by Carter Jonas Leisure.

Hope Farm Cottages offer stunning views of the Brent Knoll countryside and the Mendip Hills.

In the park, the four holiday cottages all have two en-suite bedrooms and have been rated 4* by Visit England.

On-site facilities include a games room, children’s play area and laundry room.

The outbuildings include a garage and a large detached barn with potential.

The land is 3.42 acres including a flat paddock with potential for glamping, subject to obtaining the necessary permissions.

Stephen Richards, Leisure Manager at Carter Jonas, said: “Hope Farm is a picturesque holiday cottage complex with easy access to the M5 motorway.

“The business was ideally located for a vacation rental business due to its proximity to the sea, which made it extremely popular with customers.

Somerset County Gazette:

“We have received interest from a range of buyers including the local/regional market as well as buyers from outside the region seeking a lifestyle change and to run the holiday chalet complex as a house with an income.”
