Bill and Linda Disney, the owners of the house, have spent the past four years renovating the house.

“Our heart sinks as we watch our house, which we have spent the past four years renovating, burned down before our eyes. Everything we have is gone. Our treasures are only remembered. The good thing is that Bill and I are safe. Besides the death of our parents, it is the saddest day that I have lived, ”Linda Disney shared on Facebook.

The Disney also thanked all of the firefighters who came to help save their home.

I’m glad they were all able to return home safe and sound.

A Go Fund Me page has been created for the family.

“On Friday October 1, 2021, Uncle Bill (my uncle and uncle best friends) and his wife Linda Disney saw one of their worst fears happen to their house, as it caught fire and burned down. Fortunately, no one, including their cat, was injured. It was Linda’s family home that they were renovating and they worked tirelessly to update it. Many of you have reached out and asked how you could help, so on behalf of the Disney family, I would like to try and help raise funds to help them start over. If you would like to help them during this time, I know it would bless them. They have insurance and they are working with them, but there will be immediate needs and your help would be greatly appreciated. Please ask all your questions and please keep them in your prayers as they begin again. Thank you.”

The page raised $ 3,900 on the morning of October 4 with a goal of $ 10,000. To donate, visit

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with offers of help in many ways. We can never recover our losses, but we are strong together, have loving and supportive families, wonderful friends across the country and believe that God will walk with us. We love you all, “Linda Disney posted on Facebook.
